Since our foundation in 1382, Winchester has prided itself on cultivating original thinkers - young minds who are challenged by their teachers and inspired by their peers. During the Summer Programme, you will explore questions that cross traditional boundaries: philosophical dilemmas, the possibilities and challenges of new technologies, patterns in science and nature, and the art of persuasive communication. Each strand of the course is designed to push you beyond the obvious, encouraging you to connect ideas and to test your thinking in fresh and imaginative ways.

Our programme will empower you to think with agility and empathy, hallmarks of the Wykehamist tradition, while forging lasting connections with both peers and mentors. You will discover not only new ideas and skills, but also the confidence to engage meaningfully with complex challenges.
